Who we are

Ventyr will develop, own, and operate Sørlige Nordsjø II (SNII), Norway’s first large-scale offshore wind project, laying the foundation for a new industry in Norway.

Ventyr consists of JERA Nex bp (previously Parkwind), a global offshore wind developer, and Ingka Investments, a significant investor in renewable energy. Together, they bring experience, expertise, and financing to develop Norway’s first large-scale offshore wind project – SNII.

In March 2023, the Norwegian government announced a competition for offshore wind development in the first phase of Southern North Sea II. The competition was decided through a price auction, which Ventyr won.
